U.S. government contractors received good news this week, for projects in the EU and Middle East. The EU moved closer to allowing vaccinated travelers including Americans and Non-European travelers to visit. This is obviously a “fluid” situation that could change anytime. Certain restrictions and documentation may apply depending on the EU country that you are traveling to. According to a recent WSJ article, those that have been fully vaccinated with shots approved by the World Health Organization or EU’s medicine regulators will be allowed in. Approved vaccination shots include those being used in the U.S (Pfizer, Moderna, and Johnson & Johnson).
Phocuswright is also reporting that the Middle East is resilient and is expected to see strong improvements in business travel by the third quarter of 2021.
